Welcome to the Gargaar Somali Welfare Association website!

Our History

This organisation grew out of a small community of Somali intellectuals in Enfield who saw the demand for advice and education within their community. In May 2003 this vision became a reality when Enfield Council provided a place for the Somali Welfare Association at the Portacabin in Knights Road. We operate on an entirely volunteer basis, providing help to any who ask.
